Marywood-Palm Valley school
Marywood-Palm Valley School is a private, college-prep school located in Rancho Mirage, California [1]. The school was formed in 2005, when Marywood Country Day School and Palm Valley School merged. Palm Valley was formed in 1952. Marywood was formed in 1978. The school is for grades Preschool through 12, with an average grade-level size of 40 students, and an average graduating class of about 15. In 2008, construction of a new Lower School was finally complete and all of the students were moved to the J. Blake Field campus, formerly the Palm Valley School campus. The school's motto is "Paratus Vitae" which translates as "Prepared (for) Life".1
The Marywood-Palm Valley School has many talented and experienced teachers and faculty. One of their teachers was involved in the Apollo 13 rescue misson.
Notable past students include Paris Hilton, Alia Shawkat, Bobby Gentry, Josh Homme, and Lindsay Hartley.
